1.Think Like a Warrior by Darrin Donnelly

3. Old School Grit by Darrin Donnelly
Grit is one of the most important qualities I’ve developed over the years, and this book captures its power perfectly. Donnelly dives into resilience and how to cultivate it, no matter what life throws my way. His words have helped me stay grounded through tough times and reminded me to always keep moving forward.
4. The Big Leap by Gay Hendricks
This book completely changed how I look at personal growth. Gay Hendricks explains how we often sabotage ourselves right before reaching new heights—and how to break through those barriers. I didn’t realize how often I held myself back until I read this book. If you’ve ever felt stuck, this one’s a must-read.
5. Atomic Habits by James Clear
I’ve learned that small, consistent steps lead to big changes, and Atomic Habits explains exactly how to make that happen. James Clear breaks down the science of habit formation and shows how tiny changes can lead to massive improvements over time. This book helped me build better routines and actually stick to them.
6. Chop Wood, Carry Water by Joshua Medcalf
This book is a simple but powerful reminder that success comes from embracing the process, not just chasing results. Chop Wood Carry Water taught me the importance of discipline, patience, and showing up every single day to do the work. I think this applies to everything in life—fitness, mindset, and personal growth.

7. Empowered Strength by Michelle MacDonald
This one is extra special to me because it was written by my daughter, Michelle. I wouldn’t be where I am today without her guidance, patience, and belief in me. When I started this journey, I had no idea what I was capable of. Michelle showed me that I was stronger than I ever imagined, both physically and mentally. Watching her inspire and coach so many women (including me!) has been one of the greatest joys of my life. Empowered Strength is filled with everything she’s learned as a coach, and I couldn’t be prouder of her.
